We are urgently looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant work with our client in the service sector based near Ringwood.
The role will see you working on payroll 3 days pw and within the HR Operations team for the other 2 days.
Reporting to the HR Manager you will collate data from various offsite locations to prepare the weekly payroll and assist with the monthly payroll when required, ensuring their systems integrity and confidentiality of data held and compliance with GDPR.
They currently process up to 700 in a weekly and monthly payroll so its vital that you have previous experience of payroll processing, HR administration, an understanding of practical applications of policies and procedures and good communication skills as you will be working with stakeholders across multiple locations and from different backgrounds. You will also need to be able to travel and be away from home from time to time .
You will also be a real team player who is willing to “muck in” and multi task. You must be able to organise your own time and workload and have outstanding communication skills.
Knowledge of a payroll system such as SAP and/or Sage and a payroll qualification would be desirable. An excellent working environment is offered.
