Our client is now looking for an experienced HR Manager who has multi site experience to join them ASAP until the end of January 2020 to cover maternity leave.
The role is a true generalist HR role and will see you leading the people operations team to deliver their exciting and ambitious people plan. You will be instrumental in building and developing their team. You will be responsible for partnering with Managers and Head of Departments across the business to provide advice, support and guidance as well as the tools they need to be the best they can be.
Ideally you will have experience of managing a small team of HR and payroll professionals. There isn’t a massive ER side to this role its more about pushing strategies through, working on projects and helping the Managers in their recruitment and interviewing process.
There is a lot of interaction with the Managers both face to face and via the phone. You will be expected to travel to a H/O as well as 6 locations so you must be a car driver.
Ideally you will be MCIPD and/or CIPD Level 7 with a degree that has an element of HRM or HRD. You will have experience of working collaboratively with a wide variety of individuals.
The ideal candidate will have a pragmatic and commercial approach, have experience of managing an HR team with the appropriate qualification. You will have the ability to mobilise a team, manage your own time and workload and work at pace as well have having outstanding communication skills and be able to adapt these behaviours and styles.
You will have a willingness to travel with some staying away from home and be resilient and decisive under pressure. If you have any experience of T&A systems then that would be great!
