National Sales Manager – Construction

Location: Poole or Midlands

Salary: c £35k basic, c £50-£70k OTE car/allowance

My client is now looking for a experienced Construction professional who either has previous sales experience or is looking to move into a sales role to drive decking sales within the business. You must have previous B2B Construction industry sales experience and be prepared to travel the length and breadth of the UK – a lot of the business is based around the Midlands.

You will ensure that existing and new clients understand the full package of products and services offered. Its a new role and is primarily about driving new sales with new and existing clients, building those relationships and winning new contracts. Your experience will have seen you nurturing relationships being able to educate clients about the full range of products available.

The successful candidate will:-
• Be self motivated and driven
• Motivated by relationship building
• PowerPoint savvy
• Ideally have Field sales experience from within Concrete/Construction – industry – will possibly consider construction professionals outside of sales
• Able to negotiate with clients
• Have a full UK driving licence
• Be prepared to be on the road most of the week

Essential Skills & Experience
• Construction B2B Sales experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including telephone and face to face
• Ability to identify and define problems, collate data, establish facts and propose and implement solutions
• CRM experience
• Excellent Outlook, Word and Excel Skills
• Profit & Loss understanding and responsibility including managing budgets
