Location: Nr Southampton
Salary: £25k pro rata (full time =) + commission
Hours: Will accommodate school hours – Mon-Fri
My client is a well established logistics business who are growing and now need an experienced B2B appointment maker.
The role is not just sat in an office cold calling companies. Its much more about researching, calling for information and then passing this information onto the MD who goes out to see potential and existing clients. Ultimately the aim is to make a minimum of 5 prospect appointments per week. My client offers their services to businesses across Dorset, Hants and West Sussex.
You will be a driver, over 25 to drive the pool car (for insurance purposes) and happy to go out and research industrial estates and then canvass them for contact information.
You will be an excellent communicator who is intelligent, well spoken and isn’t afraid of picking up the phone. Ideally you should have a good general knowledge of geographical locations! Its all about making sure that my client sees existing customers on a fairly regular basis but also that they continue to grow their business by bringing in new clients.
Used to use a CRM database or Excel database to record your information you will also be good with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
They are happy to accommodate school hours so ideally you should live within a 20 minute drive of Hedgend/Eastleigh.
